EMS / PARCELS
COMMERCIAL BUSINESS UNIT - EMS / PARCELS
 
It is the courier arm of Nigerian postal service with the responsibility for effective and efficient collection conveyance and delivery of time sensitive correspondence, document or merchandise both locally and internationally.
 
EMS PARCEL INTERNATIONAL: This is a worldwide express delivery service for document and merchandise (including dutiable goods). The service provides express clearance for dutiable goods not exceeding 30KG for and is available to more than 200 outlets worldwide.
 
EMS PARCEL DOMESTIC: This is a domestic courier service for delivery of document and merchandise nationwide. This service provides a 24 hours delivery time frame to more than 600 Post Office across the country
 
PREPAID This is a paid return service by the sender at the point of posting. The service is only provided for domestic transactions. It is available in all District and Post Office counters nationwide. The service enjoys 5% discount.
 
EMS PACK This is EMS/Parcel branded packs (carton containers) sold across the counter to customers sending merchandise items. The packs are in three size; small medium and large.
 
EMS ECONOMY This is a 48hours domestic service. It is targeted at social customers sending non-time critical items and at lower service level than the normal domestic service.
 
INTRA CITY SERVICE The intra-city service offers effective and efficient collection and delivery of documents and merchandise items within big cities in Nigeria at very competitive rates. Notes:
(1) Maximum weight of International items is 30kg.
(2) Maximum size is 1.5 meters for one dimension or 3 meters for the length and the greatest circumference measured in a direction other than the length.
 
AIRPOST EXPRESS SERVICE Estimated 6 Hour Service delivery to major airport towns.

MAIL ROOM MANAGEMENT - This is a system whereby a company engages the services of EMS/PARCEL to take full responsibility of all mail and mailing in the company. The company provides accommodation within the promises to serve as mail room while EMS/Parcel provides the personnel and logistics to collect, process and deliver all inward and outward mails of the company. This service is carried out at an agreed rate between the two parties.
